With the Short Clip generator, you can repurpose your long video into multiple short clips that are perfect for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, or TikTok.

Here’s how to use it:

Step 1: Visit the dashboard (app.vmaker.com) and click on 'Short Clip generator'

Step 2: Upload your long video

Step 3: Select the output aspect ratio for the video (We recommend using vertical format for social platforms such as Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok)

Step 4: Select the preferred duration for your short clips

Step 5: Enter the keywords that the AI will use to select sections of your video for creating short clips.

Once done, click ‘Create video’

Step 6: Vmaker AI will then scan your entire video, and pick the best moments from your video to create short clips that can go viral.

Step 7: On the next page, you’ll get short clips generated from your long video, along with the script for each clip. Social media logos under the script indicate the platform where the clip has the highest potential to go viral, based on its Virality score

Step 8: Click ‘Edit as project’ if you want to make any changes to the short clips or click ‘Export’

Step 9: Once you click ‘Export’, you can preview your video on the next page

Step 10: Click ‘Download video’

Step 11: Set your file name, preferred resolution, file type, and subtitle type. Once done, click ‘Download’

Step 12: Once your video is exported, it will be available under ‘My Exports’
