If you're using the Chrome plug-in for recording your screen and webcam. Here are the instances where your webcam will not be captured.

1. If you switch to a desktop application, Vmaker will not be able to record the webcam bubble as chrome allows the webcam to be captured only when viewing a webpage on the chrome browser.

2. When you're switching between multiple web pages on chrome and your webcam takes time to load up. This is because Vmaker needs to obtain permission from chrome to record the webcam on certain pages which takes a few moments.

3. Google by default does not allow webcam recording on the google home page (google.com) and the chrome webstore.
