VCRUNTIME140_1.dll was not found error occurs when this dll file is missing from your computer. This can cause some features of Vmaker to stop working. Which makes the app unusable and in some cases, the app doesn’t open at all.

If VCRUNTIME140_1.dll is missing it is probably due to the fact that either it has been misplaced by some other program or malicious programs have corrupted the file or damaged a Windows Registry. You might receive an error like “The program can’t start because vcruntime140_1.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem”.

Below are the steps that you need to follow to fix this error

1. Download a New Copy of the VCRUNTIME140_1.dll

Download the VCRUNTIME140_1.dll by clicking here and install it on the system. Since this is a new installation it will overwrite the corrupted file or create a new Windows Registry if it is missing.

2.Open the compressed folder and extract the file VCRUNTIME140_1.dll

4. If you are using the 32-bit version of Windows go to the following path and paste the extracted file here

Once the above mentioned steps are completed, quit and relaunch Vmaker.
